Job Description:

Are you passionate about events and looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team? DSPE UK Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Events Division as an Event Support Specialist. Based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, this full-time, flexible role offers a unique chance to be involved in a wide range of activities within the events sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Enquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries, providing outstanding customer service and detailed information about our events.
  • Ticket Management & Support: Provide comprehensive ticket scanning solutions, integrating seamlessly with existing ticketing providers.
  • Social Media Management: Actively manage and update our social media platforms, engaging with our audience and promoting upcoming events.
  • Event Support: Assist in various aspects of event planning and execution, including coordination with vendors, venue setup, and on-site management.
  • Photography: Support our photography and event photo redemption solutions.
  • Pyrotechnician: Assist in the setup, operation, and safety management of fireworks displays & Pyrotechnics. This includes handling and igniting fireworks in accordance with safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform a range of administrative tasks to support the events team.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Secondary school education; further education or certification in events or social media management is a plus.
  • Full & Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of managing or supporting ticket selling platforms on site is a plus.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional antisocial hours, including some weekends, to support event schedules and seasonal business.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
